Environmental Policy

  • Fulfill the responsibility of energy-saving, waste reduction and environmental protection.
  • Comply with all relevant environmental regulations announced by world(environmental) organizations.

Conflict Metal Policy

  • Fulfill social and environmental responsibility.
  • Not to use conflict minerals(3TG) originated from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries, such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania, Kenya.
  • Trace the origins of the 3TG metals used, e.g. Golden, Tantalum, Tin and Tungsten, to ensure that these metals are not from the “conflict mine” or “blood mine”.
  • Make the same requirements to upstream suppliers.

Green supply chain and product safety

  1. Egis Technology has requested that direct material vendors have to have their environmental management system ISO-14001 to ensure proper systemic operations.
  2. Vendors must comply with the following restrictions / instructions:
    • Directive 2002/95/EC of European Parliament and of the Council on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment(including further amendments), RoHS
    • REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals
    • European Parliament and Council Directive 94/62/EC on packaging and packaging waste (including further amendments).
    • Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (including further amendments)
    • Prohibition on Certain Hazardous Substances in consumer Products (PoHS) PFOS(全氟鋅烷黃酸) Directive 2006/122/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council relating to restrictions on the marketing and use of certain dangerous substances and preparations (perfluoro octane sulfonates).

    • Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)
  3. Product reliability is implemented in accordance with international standards such as JESD78A, JESD22, MIL-STD-883D, J-STD-033, J-STD-020 (or customer special requirements) to ensure that the product meets customer requirements.
